Workshop – 7 Jan 2017
That’s a wrap folks! Three days Three workshops And an abundance of new friends. Thank you to each of you for making this possible.
Such a privilege to share with these phenomenal women. Each open and surrendering to the subtle beauty of transformation. Today as we created our boards we explored the idea of navigating the flow of life with grace and ease. How do we move down the river of life with grace and ease? How do we hold ourselves in healing and life? The exact same workshop with a completely different energy, each time I share this workshop I am humbled by how much I learn from the participants. Next stop... Ballito 💗
This little guy is so lonely since his buddy passed away in December. 13 years long they were inseparable. Now he insists on joining me on the mat... during class. A love like that is such a beautiful reminder to make the most of every moment we have in this gift of life. Be present with those you love. Put the phone down and look into their eyes, hear them, reach out and be together. We all miss Odie, but none feel his absence more so than Jack does.
Workshop One of a fabulous weekend! Today we did the vision board workshop for this phenomenal group of incoming trainee yoga teachers. The Yoga4Alex organization is doing life changing work, taking yoga into our most disadvantaged communities and giving the gift of mindfulness to these kids. Today we shared the joy of actively creating a life of intention and purpose so that these teachers to be can get out there and really make a difference! Tomorrow an entirely new group!
I believe that you have the potential to live a passionate, fulfilling and joyful life. You are a human being having a human experience and I believe that you can achieve your full potential through the body using your senses, movement and breathwork to break through the barriers that keep you playing small. As a mindfulness coach I use techniques including time line therapy, hypnosis and meditation amongst a host of others to smash through your limiting beliefs and decisions in all aspects of your life so that you can live your best life.
It’s a cats life 🐈 Gracie slept all the way through our restorative Hatha session this morning, and hours later I found her still right there on my mat. We can learn a lot from cats... it’s scorching hot here in White River at the moment. Still, not a breath of wind and heavy humidity. We need to listen to our environment like Miss Gracie does and slow down in the heat which is why I decided to do a restorative session this morning. It was still and quiet and we all felt refreshed and energised afterwards ready to face the heat of the day. Do you honour the environment? Do you listen to your body and mind and what’s going on around you? How do you handle the heat?
